Databank Scheme File Templates
Three separate Scheme Files must be submitted in respect of each Relevant Authority for each Scheme Year.
These Scheme File templates are available in the table immediately below:
Additional template guidance resources are also available below.
Only authorised administrators may submit completed templates to the Databank, using the DGVT application, once local quality assurance checks have been completed on each file (see below).
Please note: where a Relevant Authority has zero Single Scheme members/pensioners/purchase of additional retirement benefits for a particular Scheme Year, a “nil return” must still be made for the Scheme Years in question.
Quality Assurance – Prior to submitting data to the Databank
Context: In advance of submitting a Scheme File to the Databank, you should ensure that you have completed robust quality assurance on your data. The suggested quality assurance checklists have been developed to assist administrators with completing quality assurance on their data. Organisations are free to develop their own QA checklists or to amend these resources as they see fit.
Important: Each Relevant Authority remains legally accountable for the administration of the Single Scheme in respect of its members, including the quality of the data maintained for its members that, in turn, is submitted to the Single Scheme Databank.
